Review - Tiki Cat - Cat Food

Today I was at Pet Supplies Plus and ran across a new unfamiliar canned cat food. Immediately I scooped up what should be 2 popular flavors to try on my babies. Later I will try some others, so this review will be updated as my cats try each new flavor.

Tiki cat is human grade food that is canned in Thailand. And is touted as being grain free, natural, and with zero to one percent carbs. The can also has a dolphin free logo on it.

The first can I opened was the:

Tiki Cat Tahitian Grill sliced Sardine in Sardine consommé

Ta da!!!! This flavor comes in second to Tuna but was a massively huge hit! This stuff smells and looks so darn good! OMG!!! YUM!!! I had to share it with my non allergic cats since they were all begging. Even mom wanted some. :lol

Now on with the review for the first flavor that I opened tonight. I opened the can of Sardine Cutlets and low and behold, they were true sardine cutlets! Wowza! They looked quite yummy to me. But how about my cats? Obviously Teddy Bearz got first dibs on this since I am trying to get him to gain weight. Although he is not very big on sardines, he will often eat some. So I figured this was good for a snack. Sure enough he ran excitedly up to the dish, ate some without enthusiasm, then walked away. My big sardine lover, Nala, sniffed them and walked away. Nala is suddenly eating some right now. I then placed the dish in front of my sleeping Sasha, she opened her eyes, and went back to sleep. I ain't even going to bother Cleo at this point.

So this did not go over as well as I anticipated. But if you cat is big on sardines I would give this product a try. Especially since sardines are low in mercury. Sale price today? A very reasonable 78 cents per can.

My next review will be on the Tiki Cat Manana Luau Ahi Tuna with Tiger Prawns in Tuna Consomme.

Stop the presses! Stop the presses!!! We have a HUGE hit here! My boy Teddy Bearz eats every last drop in his dish. And he is the pickiest of my cats! This is his most favorite tuna brand of all time! Even surpassing human tuna!

There's no telling for taste regardless of what the label may say. Our two Maine Coons?

Tried it. Yuck! Tried different flavor. Yuck! Tried different flavor. Yuck! Well you get the idea...
