Hello everybody!

I have lived in Michigan for 6 months and quite familiar with the new life here. Thus, I have intention of raising a cat as a friend with me. Do you think it is okay for a cat living in this region? One thing I'm still thinking is whether there are some centers that agree to take care of them when I coe back my home country for summer or winter break. Need advice and thanks in advance!

Hi! I assume you're a college student?

Boarding a pet works well for a week or two, not a month or two. Also if you have roommates, that could be an issue. And, if you live in university housing, they rarely accept pets.

Our Maine Coon is in college actually, helping mommy (my older daughter) with graduate school. Architecture students like cats it seems. She's graduating in May and the fall she's starting at another college. You really want your own apartment, preferrably with CatTV, ie balcony with large bird feeder and view of a busy street.
