Hey everyone! Over the past week or so I've noticed that my boy Winston has a bit more of a shine to his coat than usual. It looks slightly greasy by his tailbone and back. We used to bathe him as a kitten but we haven't in months - he's now just over a year old.. He's super soft and doesn't mat, eats a good quality wet food diet and is very healthy.

I was just wondering if most MCs have a bit of a shine to their coat, or if there is something else going on (or maybe we just pet him too much lol!)

Also I don't know if it matters, but it's summer where we are and he goes outside on harness every night.

Thanks!

Wile E has the same type of coat. I think it shows more on silvers. A bath usually keeps his coat looking good for 2 to 3 months.

Winston is quite handsome!

Thanks so much!! I'll give him a bath this week. Glad to hear it's normal :)
